When operating the concrete pump, operators should pay attention to the following requirements to make sure the operation is safe and correct.
1. Safe and correct application and operation of concrete pump should strictly carry out the instructions and other relevant provisions. Meanwhile, work out a special operation point according to instruction manual.
2. Operators of concrete pump can operate independently only after receiving the special training.
3. When pumping, legs of concrete pump should be stretched out fully and the safety pin also should ne inserted properly.
4. After connecting the concrete pump with delivery pipe, examine comprehensively according to instruction manual. If all meet the requirements, carry out the empty operation.
5. Deliver some water to make hopper, piston and the inner wall of delivery pipe where is direct in contact with the concrete moist.
6. When pumping, the concrete pump should be in slow and constant speed and ready for anti-pumping. The speed should be from slow to fast and increase gradually. At the same time, observe the pressure of concrete pump and working conditions of every system. When every system runs smoothly, pump in the normal speed.
7. The delivery should be continuous. When concrete pump must be interrupted, the interrupting time should not exceed the duration from mixing to the completion of pouring.
8. When pumping, the piston must runs in the biggest stroke.
9. When pumping, there must be no air in delivery pipe. Otherwise, the concrete must be suctioned into the hopper and mix again to eliminate the air before pumping.
10. Water tank and piston cleaning room must be filled with water when pumping concrete.
